chapter 1 -
............. wow .pretty cool , kinda like a audio book with "animated " dave gibbons art plus a score and sound effects . they even left in the original word balloons - moores name isnt on the credits - but its all his original dialogue - worth it for rorschach’s mask effects alone - plus next episodes got the black freighter ! doubt the movie will be this good - looks great on my 40 inch screen (!!!!)

BLECH. I saw a couple of minutes in a preview or something. I had to shut it off. It was terrible. It's like a sillborn abortion somewhere between comics and animation / cinema. Even radio dramas put more effort into the production. They got, what, a single guy to do all the voices? You can't made a book on tape with a graphic novel. The morons! Here Warners has taken one of their greatest comics and reduced it to utter garbage to be fueled through iTues into your damn tiny crappy iPod screen. I don't mind the movie too much. Hell, at least they've put effort into that. This on the other hand is an insult. Why bother with this drivel when I could read the book?

.........yeah the narration took some geting used to xspecialy with a guy doing the female voices - but its not a cartoon adaption - its the actual book - not on my ipod , its on my 46 inch hi def tv screen - it looks better than the comic

Except that the book actually had you reading it. Not just the text either. The panels The pages. The composition of them. If you don't understand how important that is, then I have to wonder what you're doing on a forum about comic books.

.......... read em in 86 - then a couple times since - im not saying watch this intead - just another ( way nerdy way ) to enjoy it - plus it saves the trees - so they can get turned into chinese toliet paper

- and seeing freekin mothman on my tv gives me a chuby
