Ok so I've read the Jack Kirby omnibuses (loved em), GM's Seven Soldiers (my brain hurt but I still enjoyed them), GM's Rock of Ages arc of JLA (it was ok), Starlin's Cosmic Odyssey (I liked it, but I wish it didnt keep getting ignored) and his Death of the New Gods (meh) and the Great Darkness Saga plotline from the old Legion comics (it was ok, but I wasn't too into it)
any other major plotlines revolving around the Fourth World that you guys would recommend?
I don't even like most of the ones you mentioned - especially Cosmic Odyssey, which really messed up the characters. Rock of Ages wasn't much better, IMO.
Other than Kirby's originals, the only things I'd recommend would be Seven Soldiers Mister Miracle, Walt Simonson's Orion series and the very short-lived Steve Gerber/Michael Golden Mister Miracle run from the 70s.

Well barring The Rock of Ages, I think the best Fourth World stuff I've read was Walt Simonson's Orion series which ran about 18 issues a few years ago. IIRC there's a trade of the first five issues.
Also there was quite a good three parter across the Superman books early in the Byrne/Wolfman run. It officially tied into Legends, but it stands well on its own.

Simonson's Orion, especially those issues set on the Abyssmal Plane (16-18, I think).
