Dan Jurgens returns to “Booster Gold” as artist and writer beginning with issue #15, and is ready to pick up where Geoff Johns & Jeff Katz left off. Jurgens spoke to CBR about the character he created all the way back in 1986.

The most logical choice, and a damn good one to boot!

I just hope he can keep the pace writing and penciling. If not, the occasional fill-in would be fine. I trust that Booster remains in good hands though.

Can't wait to see what new ideas that Jurgens have for Booster and his time team. :tongue:

Not surprising, but a good choice on DC's part. Nobody knows Booster better, and Jurgens looks to be continuing with the plotlines established by Johns and Katz. I'd say the book is in good hands.

I may or may not skip Remender's issues, but I'm really interested to see what Jurgens brings next (revisiting some more of his creations, from the looks of it, like Cyborg-Supes).

The first couple of issues played a lot with visiting the past of various big DC heroes (Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, the Bat-clan); we're headed back to the Bat-family well with Dixon's fill-in; if he's thinking about more stories along those lines, it'd be interesting to visit the past of Wonder Woman (a story I'd never have trusted to this title when Johns was involved) or the Teen Titans.

It was made official almost 2 weeks ago during Comic-Con. Don't know how it was overlooked; Geoff Johns mentioned at the last DC panel of the weekend IIRC.
