The 3 Flashes look pretty awsome together. I can see how this could work with Geoff writing it. Funny that awesome faster than light speed can't outrace a bullet...lol

And yes, it's very, very good. It has me nearly exploding in happiness- it's official. DC have done an event which heavily focuses on the New Gods *and* the Flash, and the gave it JG Jones and Grant Morrison. This is literally my dream story. Frankly, if this issue is 90% Flash, I'm down with that- but we all know this is where everything goes to hell.

I think my only gripe with the preview is that the colors seem so washed out. Anyone know if this preview is of the actual finished art? Hopefully the colors are better in the actual ish.

Based on what I remember Grant Morrison saying, apparently a month into the future, though I think he only mentioned Wally in that context.

Gaarrrgghhhh, probably won't be able to get this until Thursday due to a holiday specific to my province. The weirdest part is I have no idea if that affects comic shipments since it was provincial and not national.

The colors do look way too light.

I'm not sure if that's because of a light scan or by design though. I do love the Flashes scene, nice character moments there.

Probably more appropriate and likely, though given the cover of her with a bestial face, I cannot help but think that the result will be much weirder than that.

Yes, but it's a long way from the nineties where they killed major characters to generate sales and interest. Now they kill third-tier characters to generate sales and interest.

I agree that the colours are too bright and washed out. May be the preview, but I've been sort of disappointed in the colouring in the two first issues. It's my one big gripe with FC. That and - to a much lesser degree - the fact that while Jones' art is good, it's not fall-on-your-knees amazing like you'd expect from the hype and the 52 covers. Still, it's a very, very good limited comic book series. Grant Morrison may even make me get into The Flash.
