Lately i've been reading alot of Darwyne Cooke, in preparation for a Rocketeer pitch i plan to submit to Dark Horse. my questions pertains to your opinions on Revivalist writing, do you think the Darwyne Cooke approach is best? inwhich keeping to the original spirit of the source material is the best approach, IE The Spirit, or do you think it's best to "Go dark or go home" IE Ron Moore and Battlestar Galactica, where the source material is overhauled for the sake of relevance and a kind of "fix" that the original source material had?

And lets just all forget about Frank Miller's masturbating all over Will Eisner's poor old corpse...
