What other options are there if May Just died....

Okay like all of you I had enough of these Spider-man made a deal with the "devil," thread.

So I thought what if there was a thread which we could discuss what could the other options be if Peter just let May go and die ? :frown:


What do you all think, because I would have thought that Peter would at least try to go back to Tony and try to beg for some type of deal and protection for him and MJ.

But what do you all think of it ? :frown:

The ending of Fraction's annual was designed to be an ending if fans chose it, but to me it set up an unrealized new status quoe of Peter and MJ taking on the world.

Had they let May die, I'd have set this annual a few months afterwards, letting us know that Peter and MJ have chosen to be a little more "selfish" in life and have their cake and eat it..trying desperatly to have children in those ensuing months and justify their decision to stick to "the ultimate responsibility"...and not succeding may even force them to look to adoption, but nobody will put one under their care thanks to a very public identity.

So they move somewhere that will...and Spidey ends up fending his family from heroes, bounty hunters, even go much wilder and have a three-issue wooldand critter adventure:tongue:

Tony, having slightly redeemed himself in part one of OMD, would'nt be turning back to the bottle, but he'd still feel the weight of May's death over him because he contributed to it, he'd want to track Peter down and gurantee him a pardon, but Peter refuses, having located a group of lesser known, maybe even "new" characters, heroes, hiding out in a Swedish compound and decides to train them as a secret anti-reg army, not letting go of Steve's last vision, becoming a maturing leader of a rag-tag group.

The twist would have been when Peter decides to let May go and Mephisto, instead of just doing it, turns around and tells her what Peter did...in which case a now pissed off Aunt May makes her own deal with Mephisto and he imbues her with hellish powers of her own and the full fury of Golden Oldie is once again unleashed on the unsuspecting world where her unrelenting/unmerciful wrath turns earth into something worse than hell itself...

May, now garbed in leather, spandex, chains, spikes, zipper mask, and ass-less chaps walks the earth taking her venegence out on anyone unlucky enough to cross her sadistic path...
