Hi, so I got this question the other day and it has me positively stumped. I was wondering if any of you might be able to name the issue in question. Captain Jim?

Um, some kind of clue towards the issue would be useful.

PAGE 16: Detective Comics VOL 38, # 439, 1973

The second dialogue box says, "But when he thinks of the boy crime left sobbing on the street at dusk--and the other boy crime left sobbing before the Batman's vengeance hours later--"

Hahaha. Sorry about that guy and gals. Hold on.. here's what was sent to me.

When I was a kid I remember having this Batman comic that was a one shotthat I just can't find anything about (and, I can't seem to find where theactual comic itself went).
I think it was set roughly after the end ofthe first Tim Burton film, but Batman changed a lot. His outfit was likea leather jacket, and he had a golden mask over his face and he might haveused guns.

Come to think of it the plot may have been based around the idea thatBatman fell and died with the Joker, and someone took up the Batmanpersona.

The cover shows this new Batman jumping over a 1920's style gangster car.
