Stargate: Continuum

Did anyone see this? I liked it. It seemed similar to First Contact in a lot of ways to me. Well worth the rental.

I really enjoyed this. It was like the kind of episodes from the show I most enjoyed, where the focus was more on the characters than the mythology or the villain's scheme.

It's a great movie.

The previous one, Ark of Truth, seems like an extended episode, though was necessary for finishing off that plot.

Continuum seems more like an actual movie to me. It's basically just more "movie-esque".

The twist on time lines? Wow... they did a great job at it, and that's something that can easily be @#%&ed up or overdone. I do believe, however, that they have now officially "maxed out" their use of alternate this or that. It was great in this movie, though I hope they give it a rest for a while.

(slightly off topic... the sg universe tv series... i'm crossing my fingers that really happens.)
