Wasn't too impressed with Madame Xanadu number one-- it was 'okay' to me, but nothing exciting. I'm very glad to say that issue 2 has been a big step closer to a first-choice pick for me; nothing in particular: the art's just as nice, the writing's about the same, but it's as though while all the ingredients are the same, the mixing of them together is creating a better pudding, so to speak. We're getting closer to the present, and the past is becoming more solid, the basis for what (I hope) we're about to see, present-day.
