I was at Barnes & Nobles today to get a new Trade and I saw 5 vols of Batman: The Chronicles. Is this series good? It is a collection of alot of the old Detective books. Does anyone know anything about them? Also does anyone have a opinion on Batman: Gotham Adventures. I found a old issue that i had and it is mostly bases off of the Batman: The animated series.

Batman Chronicles is a collection of all of the Batman stories, from all of the titles, from the very beginning. I highly recommend it.

I greatly loved Batman: Gotham Adventures and pretty much every title they had that was based on the DCAU. In some ways, I thought those stories were better than the regular DCU.

I haven't read every issue of Gotham Adventures, but I've loved what I have. Shockingly underrated.

depends on how much you like reading the early 40's and 50's stories.
