Has he appeared in anything since "Days of vengeance" ? He seems like an interesting fellow.

He apparently appeared in TEEN TITANS #51, with several other "Whatever happened to" candidates (like Brimstone, Rampage and Livewire). All controlled by Starro.

I hope they bring this guy back. he's to cool for school. Great powers and interesting origin. This guy was old school, fighting against the expansion of the Roman Empire & what not. Seems like a vengeful ol' soul.

Okay, how is it that B-Thorn can go "toe-to-toe" fisticuffs with the Spectre, yet Wildcat trounced on him ? Thats wierd.

No love for the B-Thorn ? Man, why do I always have to like the D-list characters, lol.

I remember his first appearance in an issue of DC Comics Presents with Superman and The Demon. I thought he was pretty cool back then, but really, one lit match and his career would be up in-- Well, you know.

Wildcat's lesser known meta-power is called a "jobber aura." It allows him to defeat enemies than should be able to wipe the floor with him.

I wish I could have seen a more in depth fight between B-Thorn & the Spectre, aside from the one depiction of them fighting amongst the trees In DOV. I want more Blackbriar Thorn DC !!

I have to admit, I don't know a whole lot about this guy, or the "full" extent of his powers , but I found this online...

"Blackbriar Thorn could manipulate the weather and cast illusions. His body was composed of mystical wood that could regenerate and was incredibly difficult to destroy. He could grow to titanic proportions, and drew his strength from contact with Earth. If Thorn lost contact with the Earth his powers greatly diminished."

Not sure how much that would apply to fire, but maybe it could provide some sort of resistance. I dunno.
