Necessary Evil

I was just curious if anyone was reading this book and what they think about it. I love it, really like the idea of the vilain perspective and how far they are willing to go as they learn how to be bad. Felt issue 6 was strong story wise and a good opening to the next story arc but the art was lacking. Better then I could do, but felt the perspective was off and the characters varied panel to panel. Anyways I don't find alot of reviews on this book so I just want to see if people are reading it and what they think.

Is this based on the role-playing game NECESSARY EVIL, where you play villains fighting to free the world after all the heroes get killed by alien invaders, or is this a seperate super-villain property that just has the same name?

The latter. No aliens in this comic at all.
