This was announced like six months ago, but here's the poster.

The first Star Wars episode was classic, so I think this one could be even better. I like the Chicken as Boba Fett. I wonder who they'll use as Yoda?

Remember that midget guy who kept saying "Big Whoop want to fight about it?"
My bets are on him.

I'd like to see Adam West as Yoda. Adam West is full of wisdom and guidance.

Was Joe in the first one?

It could be him.

Jared

Joe was a grounded X-Wing pilot in the DVD.
Adam West was already Tarkin, but I suppose there's no rule against reusing somebody.

"Something Something Dark Side" would really be the ideal title for the Return of the Jedi spoof.

It's currently listed as episode 14 of the next season. No specific airdate has been announced but it won't be this year.

I still find parodying something that's already been parodied to death for thirty years kind of tired, but I do like some of the Family Guy-specific jokes, like that Meg only appeared for one second as the garbage monster.

I'm guessing she'll make another split-second appearance as the mynock that scares Leia.

Yeah, and i bet that big worm thing in the asteroid that tries to eat the Millenium Falcon is like the gay "Mayor Bee"...

Bertram would fit nicely.

SlightlyMad

Bertram would be the perfect choice for Yoda.

As soon as I saw Blue Harvest I thought that the chicken was the only choice for Boba Fett.

Howver, with Peter already cast as Han, I have no idea who would play Jabba.

I thought Meg could be the Ugnaughts in cloud city.

A Star Wars site. The guy just posted the poster. He didn't say where he saw it.

Good call on Bertram as Yoda. I think that would work great.

Na the Evil Monkey will be Yoda cause he has ties to Chris. Good call on meg the Mynock though either that or the giant space slug. Probably the mynock though.

I wonder if Stewie Vader will tell Chris Skywalker he is his father or brother. I am curious what they will do with the third one. Maybe they will call it Something Something Something Complete.

I reckon they'll keep the evil monkey and his family to be used as evil Ewoks.

Bertram is Stewie's nemesis and half-brother, how does that not fit better opposite Stewie Vader than the evil monkey?

The fact that they revisited Aquamans complete useless was a little redudant, but hilarious to me all the same. When he threw the star fish at the rapist as if it was intended to do anything made me almost fall out of my chair in uncontrollable mirth. I loved it all.

Well I must say it wasn't worst of the episode, but there were many part that I dislike mainly because it felt recycled and that I start to really loath Peter Griffin as a character in general because it feel like he can do nothing but thing selfish idiot thing that make homer's simpsons Jerk moment look pale in comparaison and him just getting away with it because he made a speech, just feel stupid (I must note however I didn't know at the time it was the speech of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, since I didn't see the movie but I could tell it was rip-off of something) but it just felt a contrive way to end the episode

I must agree. This episode felt very uninspired. To many jokes felt lifted and reused from other series and previous episodes, respectively, like the Aquaman joke, for instance (still freakin' hilrious, though).

Did anyone see this weeks (11/9/08) episode?

Did anyone see this weeks (11/9/08) episode?

Yup. There was a few things annoyingly lifted from past episodes (Brian leaving, horrible injury for Peter), but it was better than last week's in that the reliance on going overboard with the cutaways was way down (as it's been most of the season honestly).

The Lincoln and Carol Alt jokes were priceless, though. And the resolution of New Brian was nice too.

I would say it was an improvement over last week but not really by much, I kept expecting that new brian would be plotting something evil against the familiy but that didn't really happen so I was kinda suprise and the overall gag quality was decent

I liked more the simpsons this week and way more American Dad

My diagnosis is that Peter Griffin is an horrible character that screw the episode each time he's put into focus

Save this year's Treehouse...Simpsons is UNWATCHABLE, and only laughable in the fact I have found not one thing funny about it this year.

But, American Dad is becoming the best of the 4 on Fox Sunday now.

McFarlane is in there, yeah. Pretty much the same people I think.

Steve and Haley usually are the most overlooked main characters on the show, and last nights emphasis on Steve showed they can do a good episode with a character that is essentially the same since episode one...but once you step back..Steve's character has grown a lot in 4 seasons, despite being not given a lot of story a lot of the time.

I respectfuly disagree on the first position, while I think the simpsons are not as funny as it use to be I think this season somehow not as much "bottom of the barrel " as some where

and well I think that it is already the best of Fox on Sunday, it too bad that it wasn't that good from the start

Sorry, The Simpsons has gone from "not as good" the last couple seasons (save the Movie and this year's Treehouse, which was a huge improvement over the last couple) to just out and out atrocious IMO. It just really isn't that funny anymore. What's worse...it isn't funny and the writing has become lazy, and resting on its laurels.

To be honest with you...at first, it was a santized version of Family Guy. There were differences, but a lot of similarities. Now, not so much. Some of the characters have grown, and are layered. It's more subtle in the overarching premise of the show than FG, but this is a show that has gotten waaayyy better over time, where as most shows...just don't.

I had my doubts about it first but I find myself liking American Dad more than I do Family Guy currently. The humor has improved when compared to the earlier seasons while Family Guy, IMO, is becoming stale in the later seasons.

Last night, American Dad was able to turn out a damn funny episode that didn't use (save one joke scene) the main characters of Francine, Stan, and Roger...and it was the best episode of a pretty strong year.

FG wasn't good until Stewie and New Brian at the end, and the b4 credit scene were Stewie was washing Rupert. FG is essentially becoming the what happened to Lois and Chris, Stewie and Brian are our main gags, Meg will always suck tee hee, and Peter just flat out sucks Show.

It wasn't a waste of an episode. The Stewie/New Brian at the end was some the funniest Family Guy...well ever. But, it was too little too late. The show is not done by no means...but they might as well just call it what it should be...

"The Stewie and Brian Show," featuring Peter, Lois, Chris, a Meg joke, and Gags.

Just like South Park should be called the "Cartman, Butters, Randy" Show. And this one is sadder cause I've always like Stewie and Brian together...but, Trey and Matt just don't even come close to trying at all anymore unless it involves Cartman, Butters, Randy, or some real person they want to skewer.
