origin story of "Firefly" character Shepherd Book

For some reason I wasn't blown away by the Serenity comic. I think it's because the actors' delivery and chemistry with each other was such a crucial element to what made that show work for me. Having said that, I'm curious to read more about Shepherd's past. I'm not completely sold but I'll be watching to see if it grabs me.
