My poor lad. What did you do in the past to deserved this? I certainly hope the pain was deadened by beer or prescription pain medication. Preferably both.
This is an absurd question but I'll ask anyway. Which one was better? (if that is possible)

At least Xanadu had Olivia Newton John in her prime in short skirts and roller skates.

I don't understand people's problems with "Sgt. Pepper" it is a rather simple somewhat innocent movie.

"Sgt. Peppers" was my favorite all-time movie when I was a kid. I wanted to BE Strawberry Fields.
I grew up on the Beatles, so it was like the best music, with a simple innocently fun story to go with it. That is the best of both worlds for a five year old.
So, even when viewing it as an adult and admitting it's campyness, it still holds a place in my heart.
I was working as a projectionist at a theatre when that damm Sgt Pepper movie came out.
Which means that I had to listen to the likes of Donald Pleasance, Steve Martin and George Burns belting out Beatle tunes four times a day for several weeks.
The horror.
The horror.
