Okay they have Batman Beyond and Harley Quinn. Who should make the next leap from cartoon to comics?
My vote is for Phantasm.

Well, Renee Montoya technically started out in TAS (she was shoehorned into a print issue that appeared first, but her TAS role was actually produced first), so she's one that's on that "already done" list too.

I'd really like if they adapted Mad Hatter (prior to his New Adventures make over) and Clock King the same way they changed Mr. Freeze.

Phantasm was an awesome character but Andrea Beaumont wouldn't work as a recurring character. The character that I think would be a nice addition to Batman's recurring rogue's gallery is Baby Doll.

Thirding Baby Doll. She'll never be an A-Lister, but Batman could use a few B-listers more right now; almost all the good ones are either dead or in limbo. The Joker can't be in every issue.
Also, technically, Roxy Rocket already made it to the Main DCU, but I want more than a two-panel cameo from her.
Would it be wrong if I said I'd like to see Tremor from 'The Batman' and the Everywhere Man as well?

By "Batman Beyond" do you mean Terry McGuiness? When was a story with him ever done?

He showed up in 52. I think in countdown too.

I completely disagree.
Four for The Phantasm.
Mask of the Phantasm is my favorite Batman movie. Being a (former) romantic interest, skilled murderous vigilante, and a character with a cool costume/gimmick, I think Andrea would a great recurring character in the comics (much better than a sloppily returned Jason Todd). So much room to explore her dynamically.

Phantasm would, in fact, be a welcome edition to the Batman comics. Maybe something could be done with Sin Tzu, as well. I always liked the idea behind that character.
'Course the imp in me says we need to see the Grey Ghost make the shift over!

I was frustrated that the new Clock King in Teen Titans wasn't Temple Fugate. For such a wonderful reinvention of a long-lame character, they've sure dropped the ball bringing him into normal continuity.
Broadening the Batman media scope, I've also long maintained that Egghead and King Tut deserve to be canonized. They're probably better known than most of the "real" rogues, and it would be a kick to see them recreated in a more serious light.

I'd love to see a lot o the old West series baddies brought back, but yeah, especially Egghead.

Wasn't King Tut actually brought into a story recently?
I could swear I read that someone was going to bring him into the DCU.
I could totally see a Egghead/Egg Fu smackdown/teamup.

Lock-up. Adjust the costume and no more cartoon talk and he could be a half interesting character or even bat-family material.
I've always liked the idea of cowboy Shame from the 60's show for some reason. I even wrote up a whole background and story arc fro him once. Well, his grandson actually

I'd like to see Kyodai Ken, that japanese ninja who studied the martial arts with Bruce in Japan. The one who wanted revenge on Bruce for getting booted from the dojo.
I'd also like to see that black mechanic, Earl Cooper, and his daughter who built the Batmobile for Batman. I know technically, Fox has taken up that role in Batman, but I think there's room for more than one mechanic conscidering the number of Batmobile's Batman has.
And I'd like to see the Grey Ghost. i like the idea of how this tv series character inspired Bruce's creation of the Dark Knight.

Baby Doll, by far.Baby Doll would seem to fit well into Gotham -- though in truth the villain in the opening scene of Batman #666 sort of reminded me of her.

Some crackers in here already. Phantasm, Grey Ghost and Kyodai Ken would be my personal faves.
What about Roland Dagget?
Also Lock up appeared waaaay back in Detective comics just prior to the 700 mark I believe.

Kim, the bespectacled, laissez-faire (so much so he didn't even bother with a costume or pseudonym) twentysomething villain who showed up in the TAS comics. Sort of a much, much less uptight Riddler type; he's totally forgotten now (if he was ever really known at all), but he was really a lot of fun.

I might be wrong about this, but I want to say that it might be difficult bringing in any original characters from the 60s series due to rights issues. It's the same reason the show hasn't been put out on DVD.

Hmmm...
Baby Doll, Phantasm, Cover Girl (was that her name? Or was it Calendar Girl?) from Batman TAS. Curare and Inque from Batman Beyond. The terrorist Red Claw as well. Hey-all ladies!
Lotsa female baddies on the animated series, which is something the print Batman lacks.

Phantasm and Red Claw would be cool. I also remember a Japanese assasin from the comics... I want to say her name was Kitsune. She was based on the trickster fox spirit and had Catwoman-ish claws and could create illusions.

I would say Clock King (Temple Fugate), also. But there are already versions of pretty much the same character in the comics.
Clock King aside, I have to go with HARDAC (along with Karl Rossum, it's creator). Heart of Steel and His Silicon Soul were two of my favorite episodes.

Who is Baby Doll?
She was a former child actress who never aged physically, and tried to recreate her onetime stardom by kidnapping all of her former co-stars.
She was in one really good episode of Batman and Robin and one rather dopey episode of Gotham Knights (or however people refer to it).

I remember when the episode of her return in Gotham Knight was about to debute, they would play this commercial teaser of her singing of the plot of the episode. They played it so many times that till this day I STILL remember the song!
"Baby and Croc
On a crime spree.
R-O-B-B-I-N-G.
First comes love
Then toy grenades
Then come Batman in the roller blade"
Then at the very end is her screaming at the screen, "Watch it or I'll give you a spanky!"

Clayface's gay lover. I'm not sure who the current Clayface is, but I totally related to his boyfriend. And that was one of the saddest episodes (was it a two-parter?) of the series for me.
It was sad even before Matt Hagen became a monster, because you got the impression his boyfriend loved him far more than he was loved back. That relationship reminded me a little of Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall in The Shining.

Wait, wha?
The guy in the Clayface origin. I'm convinced he was originally written as a woman and they changed it at some point.
He played the exact same role as characters like Francine Langstrom & the fiance of Maxie Zeus did in other episodes. The person who has to watch the man they love turn into a monster (not literally in maxie's case).

Now that you mention it, I actually do remember watching that episode and thinking the relationship between the two were probably undertones to a gay couple, but it came to the point that everything about that episode got over shadowed by how fantastic the animation was for it!

On that note, the trio of the Professor, Mr. Nice and Mastermind might be nice to see, but I doubt they'll ever bring them back again now that Archie Goodwin is dead.
For those not in the know, the Professor was based on Denny O' Neil, Mr. Nice on Archie Goodwin, and Mastermind on Superman editor Mike Carlin.

To me, both Andrea Beaumont and Rachel Dawes represent the same character. Obviously they are different but they both seem to originate from Rachel Caspian from the comic. I'm not sure how Phantasm would work in Nolan's Batmovies but it's the most welcome character from TAS I say.

I think Harley Quinn has had the most success coming from TAS.
But for another character to join: Phantasm

Phantasm is basically the Reaper, but I'd welcome the Reaper back if Rachel took the place of her father. Like I say, it would be much like Andrea Beaumont returning after several years as she did in MOTP.
