I just heard this on CNN so I will have to see if I can find a link...
But a man was arrested for knocking over a bank. How was he caught? He handed a not to the bank teller during the robbery. The bank note was written on the back of his personal check.
When he was arrested he was wearing the same hat he had in the videos.

It's really disappointing that honest, good people are smart enough to think of how to pull of a robbery but real criminals tend to be so stupid.

Only the dumb ones work on the street for high risk, long term punishment and low payout. The smart ones are into white color crime which has a much, much higher payout and far low risk of detection. And the wrose case scenario is you do a small bid in federal prison and come out to more job offers.

I'm reminded of this story (http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/baltsun/access/112499660.html?dids=112499660:112499660&FMT=ABS&FMTS=ABS:FT&date=Oct+30%2C+1993&author=Roger+Twigg+and+David+Michael+Ettlin&pub=The+Sun&desc=Paperwork+holds+up+city+bank+robbery+Wrong+de posit+slip+means+no+money&pqatl=google), where the burglars give up because they're told that they can't use another bank's deposit slip.
