AHAHAHAHA I'M IN YOUR COUNTRY.

It's not so bad, actually. I'm amused that you can buy beer anywhere, even the 7/11's, and that it's insanely cheap.

Also, I'm sunburnt. No one warned me of this, that your cloudy days still mean I'm likely to cry in pain a little everytime I MOVE.

Otherwise, Disneyland rocks. Universal Studios rocks. And now I know where Angelina Jolie lives. WIN.

That's only in certain states, unfortunately. :frown: You can't in New Jersey.

Rosie does California!

Anyone else picturing Rosie O'Donnel with a giant jar of lube and a crafting glue gun?

Avoid driving to Los Angeles. The smog is insane over there.

Sunburn? That actually happens? I thought that was something they invented for the movies.

I go out in the sun for twelve hours after a winter indoors and I end up slightly darker than when I went out, and I assume that everyone is exactly like me.

When do you head south? Some of us live in LA, you know. And we know where cool stuff is. I could have sent you the directions to my tour of Hollywood murder and scandal sites...

How does an Australian manage to get sunburnt in Cali of all places?

All I'm saying is that when I go outside I don't have to soak myself in gallons of sun block to avoid the sun frying me into a crispy red critter you poor, poor melanin deprived child. You people are like vampires, stand out in the sun long enough and you burst into flames.

I'd say stop in and say 'hello' at my place but I'm on the opposite side of the country.

Pfft, sun. I'll take howling wind and pouring rain in July, please. We don't have any sun whatsoever, just the shine from our pasty white skin.

Glad you're having fun! Maybe next time you can come up north, I swear it's not cold in the summer!

HOLY CROW GUYS.

After a day of San Diego Comic-Con, I don't know how you guys can do it for four. I've had a kick-ass time, and I'm hopefully heading out to the Hyatt later tonight for drinks with ElvisGuy and Co. (who is a really sweetie, by the way) and meeting everyone today at breakfast was simply fantastic.

Tomorrow...I sleep. A LOT. Until I have to head to the airport for my flight to New Orleans. Everything I've learnt about New Orleans I learnt from Disneyland, so I have expectations.

And just for you Lester, it's true. Electrical stuff hates me here too.

As I read this post, for the first time in a year, the power went out in my house. I had to figure out how to work the circuit breaker panel thingy to get it back.
