Ive always wondered what happens to the ice slide bobby leaves behind, cause those things can be really dangerous being in mid-air. They can crack or melt and fall on a crowd of people which can either seriouslly injure or kill them

They magically turn into icecream and make all the homeless orphans happy.

Collateral damage is common in superhuman battles. I wonder why everyone still calls them superheros even after they accidentally injure innocent people in wrecked cars and broken buildings on a regular basis?

That's what they get for standing under an ice slide. I mean, what were they expecting the melting ice slide to do, turn into money?

When Bobby goes pee pee in ice form, are they like little yellow snoopy snowcones?

Probably the same reason they consider cops and fireman heroes. They leave collateral damage around, too.

People always made fun of it, but I liked seeing on DBZ where good guys and bad guys would gather up and fly to deserted locations. Reading or watching Superman you'd sometimes get the impression that these guys are absolutely inconsiderate bastards.

You know?

Walking under an ice slide is like walking under a ladder, if something happens its on you:tongue:

My guess is that they slowly evaporate...

Now if Mike Carey will allow him to be in his mist form, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Logical or not for his current powerset, the ice slides are an iconic visual for Iceman, so he probably won't be ditching them (in the same way that Cyclops now chooses to wear his visor even though he no longer needs it). We've also seen that turning into mist puts a great deal of strain on him, so he wouldn't be able to travel as long distances as he can w/ ice slides. You have to take into account the fact that mutant powers require the same kind of physical exertion as normal human physical activities like running, fighting, and working out.

What I always wondered about them is how he always stays at the front of them and moves forward whilst the "old" ice gets left behind..like when he transports himself and others, how does that work since he's constantly generating new ice but they all stay at the front even though they don't physically move.

I know what I'm trying to ask but I can't quite put it into words lol, does anyone understand what I mean??

Yeah like when Ms Marvel flew a Skrull through loads of buildings before flying it up into space and watching it die...good visual but why would any super hero ever think that was a good idea?!

And isn't the idea of the SHRA that they could pull her up as a registered hero after it was all over and say "you destroyed x amount of buildings - PAY UP!"

He generates the ice underneath his and his passengers' feet, so I assume it's kind of like controlled sliding. His feet are also made of rocky/jagged ice (and even if they weren't, his powers would allow him to control the friction between his feet and the slide), so it doesn't slip around like a normal person's feet would. Of course, the passengers have to hold on to him or they'll wish they had a parachute.

With any luck they fall on Tony Stark and his expensive things. I can hope right?
