Lifeguard in Emperor Vulcan

Last we saw, she took on the Avian form which denotes Royal Shi'ar heritage. I think with the right writer, this would be a perfect chance to bring her back in a practical way. Maybe allow Cerise to be her body guard? I dunno...

As for her brother? I hate him, he can become a bad guy like in X-Men: The End, and be offed by a pissed off Lorna or something.

Lifeguard, Slipstream and Thunderbird the 3rd should take Poalris, Havok and Marvel Girl's spots as Starjammers. Then the latter 3 can return to Earth, we all win! :biggrin:

I actually mentioned this in the other Vulcan thread but i think there was bit to much bile and hate spewing to actually be noticed. The the fact there are 2 x characters with royal Shiar heritage (Lifeguard and Adam-x) not being addresses at all in this storyline feels like kind of a slap in the face. Kind of a double one for Adam who not only is the rightful heir to the throne but the originally intended brother of Scott and Alex. Guess I'll just keep hope alive that Marvel will bring these 2 in especially when the next story is about who will rule.

Was the Adam-X stuff ever cemented on panel or just planned and never fully realized? I wouldn't mind either link being explored honestly, though the Camerons are actually probably the more viable of the two options, scary as that sounds.

Never explicitly said he was the brother of Cyclops and Havok hinted heavily he had a strong connection to their grandfather, Jean felt something familiar about him and was watched closely by Sinister. But in captain marvel issue 3 of vol.2 I think mid 90s anyway he is told by Erik the red he is the Son of D'Ken. plus Nicieza said he was intended to by Katherine summers and D'ken's child.

Well, with Vulcan's origin it might be tough to reconcile Adam-X's intended origin now... there literally wouldn't have been an opportunity to impregnate Kate, she was killed with Vulcan in her womb. He can still be D'Ken's son I guess, even with an Earthling, but he can't be Kate's son.

Was it ever hinted who the Camerons mother was anywhere? I can't remember?

I think Adam is the Child of Catherine summers and D'ken and Corsair.

Hey Dken is an Alien it is possible- Maybe kinda like a Cat - one mother 2 fathers sharing DNA.- This would be funny in a sense that Vulcans brother Adam is the true Heir not Vulcan himself

As for Lifeguard being the Royal line this is possible as well- Remember the Rookshire were another Shiar minority, maybe the Real Royal line was thought exterminated by the Nermani's- Hence why Lifeguard was hidden on earth- (her daddy the Crime boss was a Shiar royalty- or rather her mom)

I like the idea of the Camerons being the true royal line, and the Nermanis legacy of a coup. That has great potential honestly, and casts a nice cloud over Lilandra's argument.

4com interesting point about a possible other royal bloodline too bad none of these things are likely to be ever mentioned again hell whats it goin on 12 years with out Adam-X even being mentioned? Don't get me wrong i love marvel and i love the x-books but this has been on my nerves for awhile now.

yea about the only way to have him actually be Katherine's son is some egg harvesting but really not that far fetched and really to tie it up nicely something like that would have to be done cause the family connection was built up I mean if not you might as well delete x-men 39 from canon.

I agree- Egg harvestng and some sort of Cross polination is not a bad idea

But then what would the Purpose of crossing it with some earthers genes?
