Last I heard was that Sueprman-Prime was in Countdown and had destroyed one of the 52 Earths. However seeing as that Countdown and New Gods were written after Final Crisis was underway and things don't mesh well and in fact Final Crisis is said to be more understand if you didn't read those series how did Prime end up in the future?

Is that suppose to be explain in Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds (if so I guess I have to wait) or did something happen in Green Lantern (since he was also there) or Countdown that caused him to end up there?

Thanks

It'll be explained within the series. In fact if you can find the preview for L3W then it shows how he ends up in the future.

Everything in Countdown, with the exception of the New God bits as seen in Final Crisis proper, has matched up really well with the rest of the DCU. Prison planet, Piper/Trickster, etc. Last we saw Superboy (He'll never be "Man' to me) Prime him and Monarch (Captain Atom) blew up the universe of Earth 51 in their fight.

SBP was probably blasted into the future by the explosion, like he was blasted into the multiverse in Sinestro Corps War, or the Time Trapper reached out and grabbed him or something.

I'm sure it will be explained in the story.

On a separate issue, I hope the SBP stories in Countdown are still canon. Mxy calling him out as the whiney little bitch that he is was one of my favorite parts of that year long waste of time.

The previews indicate that the Time Trapper snagged SBP - probably during the blast - and zapped him to 31st.

The interesting thing is that he seems to be back to a younger physique as compared to his last appearance. Interesting to see what his power level is.

PreCOIE Kryptonian or that + Guardian Boost?

He should go through most of the Legion like butter.

Before his appearance in CD he was supposed to still be a kid, but even if CD still counts, Mxy said that he only appears bigger b/c of all of the power contained within him and that it was slowly draining out.

What I don't get is how could still be a kid at all. Wasn't he supposed to have been aged when the flashes trapped him in the speed force or whatever during IC? The way he was drawn in the last few issues it looked like he went back and forth from being a kid to an adult.

Wasn't he a teen-ager during COIE ? After that he was in Alex Luthor's pocket realm/whatever so he never aged. Even if he aged another 4 years with the Flashes he'd still only be 22 or 23 ....

Oops, one error. It's not Superman-Prime.

It's Superboy Prime. Geoff says those words...

You know what my favorite part was? Mxy running away like a coward and leaving evil Zatanna to die. Then sealing up the fifth dimension so he couldn't get his ass handed to him again. What a guy.

Prime should be about 20 now. He was trapped in limbo at age 15, aged 4 years during his wacky adventure with Bart, and then spent a year locked up on Oa. Thus, twenty years old.

You know - let's buy him a car and chase girls. That should get him out of our hair.
