Since it's August 1st and it's the official start of the Raffle Giveaway - here are the prize announcements and the entry rules!

SECOND PRIZE (One Winner): One pink, one black, and one white Alterna pin - for a total of 3 pins. Plus a random single issue! (total estimated retail value: $4.50)

How To Play

* Raffle valid on orders that take place from August 1st, 2008 to August 30th, 2008 at 11:59 PM.
* Raffle Tickets can be purchased here or at the Alterna Store. Cost per ticket is $1.00 each (shipping is free if you are just purchasing a ticket).
* Raffle tickets can also be obtained by placing an order for any Alterna item in the Alterna Store. 2 Tickets will be given for every $10.00 spent in the store - the best part is that shipping & handling is included in that total. For example: If your subtotal is $18.00 and shipping and handling is $4.70, your total will be $22.70 and you will receive 4 raffle tickets.
* The more tickets you have, the better your chances are at winning one of the prizes. Three winners will be chosen and announced on August 31st, 2008 at 3PM EST (Eastern Standard Time).
* If you ordered tickets separately, you will be e-mailed your Raffle Code within 24 hours of payment. Please hold on to these codes as they will need to be validated at the time of the announcement. If you lose your code at any time, please contact alternacomics@hotmail.com to re-obtain it.


Entry Rules and Eligibility

* Alterna Comics creators and staff are not eligible to win the raffle.
* Raffle is open to everyone over the age of 17.
* If you are younger than 17, please have a parent or guardian's consent as some of the prizes contain material meant for readers 17 years and older.
* There is no limit to the amount of Raffle tickets you are allowed to purchase or acquire through orders.
* Prizes are shipped to the winners at no cost to them. Prizes are expected to ship within 5 business days and are expected to arrive within 14 business days.
