AStonishing X-Men gave us Colossus back, but it took Kitty Pryde from us to do so. Would you have preferred to remain without Colossus but with Kitty or this status quo where we have Colossus but we don't have Kitty?

I prefer Kitty to Colossus :D

Colossus never should've been brought back. Kitty should've stayed in the X.S.E. along with Storm, Cannonball, Rogue, Bishop, Sage, Magma, Gambit, Lockheed (<3<3) and Rachel.

I actually don't mind the Lockheed spy retcon now though... get him in MI-13 plz!

I dunno this is a toughie. I've always found Colossus so incredibly boring and I think his death was very heroic and should've never bet retconned it was a mighty shame, but the way Bru has been writing Peter lately in Uncanny has made him midly interesting. And I've never really had any sort of opinion of Kitty until recently I have her very irritating.

So I vote Colossus. :P

I know that one time during the Claremont/Romita Jr. years this black guy said something like "are you a mutie, Pryde?" He was making it very clear he didn't like mutants. She responded with something like "gee, I don't know, are you a nigger?" Taken out of context that seems racist, but when I first read the story it was clear that she was making the point that guys like him--who are victims of prejudice themselves--ought to know better than to be prejudiced.

WELL. That is one of the more famous ones. Another one (WHICH WAS TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT).

Was her infamous speech in the mid 40's of New Mutants, where she addresses a school of their persecution of a mutant student who later commits suicide.

Well Armor can now grow giant, move tanks around easily, and throw Wolverine like a fastball; so we don't really need Colossus around being boring and mopey.
