I wouldn't mind her being a good guy, but that transition just felt too forced.

I think you need to re-read that scene. Dani BitchStar couldn't even operate a door. Feral was about to lobotomize her when she got bored and realized Magma was close by and was the real target. Then Sunspot fought Maria, not Dani. Dani did throw her arm and yell fetch at her, but again, Dani messes up. Maria isn't a dog. She got lucky in the regard that Maria wanted to keep her arm and went after it. Dani BitchStar barely survived Necrosha. The real Feral was just shining through and knew she probably shouldn't kill BitchStar.

So we all know that Marvel's editorial staff are jumping on the Twilight/True Blood/Fangariffic bandwagon and creating a war between The X-Men and Vampires. Namor is going to be taking center stage in this battle and it appears as if Jubilee will have some sort of vampy role based on the preview art where she's paired with the craptastic X-Man. My question for you here is, who else will become an X-Vamp? My guess is Feral!!!

Feral is already somewhat undead thanks to Selene. She has the ability to be nocturnal and she has used her shadow boxing abilities magnificantly in the past. Feral also has her own set of fangs which she loves to bare and her intense craving for blood would make you think the rest of the vampires were on a weight watchers diet. To top it all off, Feral has sported a number of different looks through the many fond years that she's been around, including a phase where she sort of looked like a bat.

Last but not least, Feral has the attitude to be a vampire. She just wants to sleep all day and then hunt at night. It's easy to see how she could make her way up the undead food chain in this new vampire society. I prefer Feral as a villain and you should too. As a vampire, Feral could branch out into the Marvel Universe and battle more then just mutants. A Vamp-Feral versus Black Pussycat would be GREAT!, but they'd have to show T'Challa taking another beat down which they may not want to do after his recent slaughtering. Vamp-Feral could be fantastic. Do you have any ideas for Feral's new Vampire Diaries life?

A) Feral doesn't have fleas. Her mutation along with Herbal Essence protects her. She did have to get a special treatment after fighting that DOG Wolfsbane though.

B) This is a tough call. We've seen Sun bitch slap, shoot and Oar-Smack people. It would depend on the motivations of the fight. If Feral was attacking Jin, Sun would dominate. Actually.....Sun would always win. She's a lying whore who would deceive Feral and shoot her once she felt threatened.

C) I was ok with it. I knew it was going to happen and in the end I think they will all be alive in some fashion.

Her service to Mumbai changed her life and attitude, but now that she's been revived by Selene, had her arm detached by Moonbitch and had to swim one handed off of Utopia she may be back to being a hardcore mamacita.

I know a lot of times they include characters in these things right before they become stars in a book. I have a feeling Feral my feature as a Horseman of Apocalypse int he new Uncanny X-Force. Her bio explicitly states :"Most reanimates returned to death upon Selene's defeat." I think this proves Feral is one of the characters who IS NOT most. She survived. I'll scan her new Bio iamge art shortly.

If Feral were to get vamped I think it would be even BETTER for her than repowering. She'll pretty much have the jist of her old powers back plus some new ones. It'll add a whole shade more of darkness to the character and um hello be a way for her to return from death/T.O. virus.

If Feral is still one of the T/O zombies, then it wouldn't be unreasonable to think she's been drawn towards this whole mess because of that. It might even be possible that Layla can fully restore her to life, since Feral might still be a reanimated corpse with her soul bound into the body via black magic.

Our girl appears in today's X-Factor, issue #221. Her storyline is good and it seems she may escape deaths clammy hands if she plays her cards right! Be sure to pick up the issue at your store! She's pretty awesome all through out it, taunting Wolfsbane and calling on Dog/Cat Gods to destroy Rahne and her jank demon baby. Sadly, she doesn't call 'Star Shattybuns, and Rahne's dumbass can't even remember that Feral's name is Maria, not Marie, but it's close enough and Feral doesn't really care what you call her. She sticks it to Rahne pretty good though by calling her a cannibal, then deciding mutants are allowed to eat humans! I hope Feral eats Rahne! Here are a few pics!!

I'll be honest, I was a little surprised she was in so much of the issue. I knew she'd reappear, but I figured the preview pages would be the extent. I have a feeling she may survive this arc.

She better. She's a much needed bit of drama for the title. Other than M I loath the entire cast of X-Factor but Feral's appearance (and your wonderful summary of it) are tempting me to get this. Seeing her troll Rahne is very enticing.

I also like the possible way she is going to return.

I don't know why I've always liked her but I just do. She's a real underdog story.

I'm loving her dialogue in that scene as well. Very Feral albeit with less rage. Which is fitting because she seems to be a bit more adjusted to whatever is going on.

Hey Feral Fans! Our girl made another appearance today in X-Factor where her nemesis Rahne acted like a total bitch and puked out her ugly dog baby. Gross. Feral liked the little rascal as he loved the taste of blood! Anyhow, she appears to be alive at the end of the issues if you ask me. She is no longer around Rahne and she's hiding. If she were still a ghost no one would be able to see her. Being alive again, her new mission is to steal Wolfsbane's baby (which she rejected) from Werewolf by Night (who found the little blood scarfing monster). Here's a few panels of her looking AMAZING!

I think PAD mentioned that Darwin would return somewhere in the 230s, which would likely involve the follow-up to this story. So next year, most likely.

Her storyline currently has her revived in spirit form tracking down Rahne's missing baby. Although, in her final "ghost" appearance I think she was fully revived because she has a shadow. Even if she is a ghost still though, some death god is offering her her life back if she tracks down the baby.

Yes! Thornn helped helped X-Force hunt her down and prove her guilty. The sisters are NOT friends. At least they shouldn't be. Morrison is who actually messed that up. He totally botched Feral, and while they bickered it seemed more playful then hatred. Then they clung to each other in Decimation, which I think is OK sense they had been thrown together. However, now that Feral's back and she's bitchy again, I think she should have a rivalry with her sister.

I wholeheartedly agree. Warpath would never have been there with Feral either. The last time they interacted she has ripped out Siryn's throat. Feral also acted extremely out of character, which COULD be explained by her no longer having the legacy virus, but considering all her appearances after that were back to being bitchy I feel like he just dropped the ball.

Anyway, I think if the girls are ever reunited they should NOT enjoy each others company, but if push came to shove they wouldn't let the other die.

Didn't Feral also protect Thornn from her awful family? I'm thinking of that X-Force issue with the pigeons and I remember Thornn cowering a lot and Feral protecting her. But, it's been awhile since I read it.

Yeah, Thornn was about to be attacked by the mom's boyfriend and both had previously been abused by him. Feral gutted him like the limp fish he was!
