I would believe this. Feral and Vinvente were probably great friends for a while. He would turn into clenset and help get all the fleas off of her and she would hunt down dinner for the two. It's a match made in heaven! Sadly, her Morlock friends didn't like her having outsider friends and they ripped them apart. Well, I tink Scanner would understand Feral's stance. She see's this woman who WAS depowered as well. Her world was wiped away. Scanner would also respect Feral, for she is a Legacy Surivior. On top of this, I see a Mondo/Scanner Romance since both are so jovial.

I think perhaps they should prise Bliss away from Masque and force her into the team. And then to add a character that is as out of place in the X-Bolts as Feral was in X-Force, Husk. The goodey two-shoes of Generation X trapped in a team specialising in meanness and (especially in the case of Mondo) betrayal!

after the first beating, the rest of x-force should have clearly realised feral wasn't playing. and they did. case in point, feral put the rest of x-force in line in that training excercise. which is why she was choosen to do it in the first place.

Well said, Cable knew that Feral was willing to get the job done, and X-Force knew she wasn't holding back. Notice how BOTH Boom Boom and Domino tell her she's taken the "exercise" to far. They already knew she was a loose cannon. Cable wanted her for her killer instinct and that's what he got.

This is a great thread. I'm one of those few who always loved both Shatterstar and Feral, despite what a god-awful character she is.

X-Force was actually my favorite X-team back in the 90s, so that's probably a big part of the reason. I've always been a big fan of most everyone on that team, actually, but especially Cable, Shatterstar, Feral, Siryn, Rictor, Moonstar and Sam. I've always liked Warpath, Caliban, Sunspot, Domino, Jesse and Boomer as well, even if not quite as much as the others.

I suppose Lila Cheney and Pete Wisdom were briefly members of the team as well (five issues each, right?). I definitely like those guys too. They fall somewhere between that first group above and the second on my affection scale.

Maybe I should be petitioning for a return of Feral so that she can finally get some of her Shattybuns. Unless he's still too hung up on Rictor.

The funny thing about this is that Daken is such a bad character that hooking him up with Feral could only be a benefit to him and a blight to her. There's not many characters who that can be said about.

Also, according to ComicVine, Feral has had 80 appearances not including reprints and handbooks. I have all of them except 6. The hunt is on! My LCS backbins better be fully stocked tonight.

I'm somewhat ashamed to admit I actually liked Claremont's X-Men: The End origin for Gambit (even if the rest of the story was garbage). And the fact that he tried to answer the dangling "third Summers brother" thread in an actual published issue before anyone else has to count for something.

Keep in mind this is coming from someone who thought Claremont's X-Men work was golden up to X-Men #3, and that everything since #100 (when he returned) has been mediocre at best.

I still buy the argument that since Sinister said "brothers" without specifying how many, and since he shouldn't have known Gabriel was alive at the time, could have been referring to anywhere from one to three other brothers (which may still include Adam X, Gambit and Gabriel).

Meaning, not only is Feral lame for using the word "bohunk", but it's worse because she's actually stealing dialogue from Taby. Same logic of "who's a bigger idiot, the one in the front, or the idiot who follow them."

How did I miss this comment? It's a beautiful idea for an X-Force Mini. The kids could be slowly slaughtered, with no one knowing who the culprit is. The end result is Feral is BACK and the kids are terrfied. She's eat Anole's big arm and causes him to grow an EXTRA EXTRA big arm.

Basically, she'd be T/O style thanks to Selene, but by the end of the mini she'd have been kidnapped by Romulus and returned to her normal status as a Mutant.

So there are rumblings that X-Men Forever has been so amazing that they may start up a New Mutants Forever series. Considering that X-Men forever starts around the same time that New Mutants ended (with issue 100), I believe that the series should keep on with basically an issue 101 as opposed to X-Force. Fortunately, our favorite girl was already a staple on the New Mutants at this point, appearing in issues 98, 99, 100 and Annual #10.

No writer has been announced, but it is possible that Claremont could be penning this epic journey in the 161 Universe (the 666 Universe as I call it). Some naysayers believe New Mutants Forever would just start where Claremont left, but that would make no sense in my opinion. Of course some characters would need to be brought back (like Karma and Wolfsbane), but getting rid of the new additions would seem like a waste. Do you think Claremont would keep Feral around? Her arguing with Wolfsbane could be amazing. Or perhaps Wolfsbane would just be left out. Feral is superior afterall. What plots do you think Claremont would give Feral? That was Feral's worst appearance ever! Not only did they make her a house cat, but they put her in a STUPID uniform that looked horrible AND they brushed her hair. I was ridiculously upset with Morrison.
