Turnbull's art is pretty good. I was a bit apprehensive when I heard Paco was leaving, but now I don't feel so bad. I'm really looking forward to this issue.

I think the plot's fine, but we could use some more in-depth character study. Especially for Vin and Christian.

I was being a bit snarky. I do love jubilee but think it's redicules since she's become wondra and i was just suprised by the fact that new warriors hasn't gotten canceled yet.

Oh. Well, I don't think it's really a bad book. It may feel a bit cobbled together in places, but it isn't bad.

Besides, this is probably the best gig Jubilee's gotten since Generation X ended. Before that, there was the X-Corps, her surprisingly quiet stint in Austen's Uncanny X-Men, the manga-esque miniseries she practically sleepwalked through and then she was depowered. The role may be a stretch for her, but it's a better job than the last few things.

I am all for a book to spotlight some of the depowered mutants and like the use of tech-based powers too, but let's get some original New Warriors involved already! They should definitely make use of Firestar and develop her character a little more as she is wasting away in comic limbo. She would be a nice fit as an original New Warrior and mutant plus lend some power to the team, which is lacking right now.

I'm liking the book so far, but as an old time fan of the REAL New Warriors, I'm wishing it would pick up a bit.

I mean, I don't even know half the characters code-names yet (by memory I mean), and there's something not right about that.

I am hoping that it's revealed that Dwayne, Nita, and Microbe were all Skrulls, though.

Anyways looking foward to the issue, hopefully the "Old" New Warrior will become a perminate fixture in the book.
