I'll actually be getting three weeks' worth of comics this week, but first let me list what I got in the mean time.

First, pics of the previous shipment:

And, since I was in Korea (Seoul) for a conference last week, here's what I brought back:

Mangas cost about $4 there... ^^;

DC COMICS
Batman And The Outsiders #9, $2.99 - I will continue reading until Dixon's scripts run out.
Birds Of Prey #120, $2.99 - Bedard gets 2~3 issues to convince me to continue reading.
Final Crisis Rogues Revenge #1 (of 3)(Character/Story Sliver covers), $3.99 - I'm on the fence about getting this one. I *loved* the John/Kolins Flash run but have been sitting out all of the Final Crisis stuff. Will a trip to my LCS be my breaking point this week?

IMAGE COMICS
Perhapanauts #3, $3.50 - First 2 issues were really good.

MARVEL COMICS
Amazing Spider-Man #566, $2.99 - Really looking forward to this.
Captain America #40, $2.99 - Another great issue from Bru/Epting?
Mighty Avengers #16 (Secret Invasion Tie-In), $2.99 - I pray that this issue is Sentry-free.

Wait for Trade
Scalped - Very happy that Vol. 3 has been solicited.

This past week's comics:

boobage (Lipstick Press) - by Monica Gallagher. I saw a solicitation for this a while ago and was interested then. This minicomic by this talented person was a great indepth look at her perspective on some things even if the story was totally fictional and fabricated (something I'm not sure about). I loved the cartoony art, and even the auburn color that washed over everything, fit in well.

unspoken (High Drive Publications) - by Megan Kelso & (1 story written by Pete Dishwasher). Again, another minicomic by a very talented person whom I've heard about in the comic world. The art is b&w and the stories, like the cover tell, are 'bits and pieces' of shorts she's done for other works and this is the mini-collection of them. I was immediately awakened to the raw, intense and emotional writing , which, again, I was not sure if they were autobiographical or fictional, but the combo of the excellent storytelling and dark art made for a great book.

Tank Girl: Visions of Booga #3 (IDW Publishing) - by Martin, Dayglo & Krank on colors. I've gotten the previous books, so the quality was no surprise. It's really one of the best books out there right now with a unique perspective, both on storytelling and art, from one of the more established comic book companies.

Burn #3 (Arcana Studio) - by Camilla, Sanders & Whitmire. This b&w, grey toned book is kinda losing some interest for me. The story doesn't really seem to progress all that much and I think the art (though good) reflects that notion in what is told in the book. Of course, something I hadn't realized was sadly brought to my attention in that one of the artists, Whitmire, had passed away in November of 2007, and this was the last book he worked on. There's a nice, sort of, Eulogy at the end for him. This series goes on till issue 6 so I'm not sure what to expect in the coming issues, but drastic changes are needed to make it an overall better book.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch, vol.2, #95 (Archie Comics) - by Tania, Amash & Jensen. Ahh!! Tania's back! This story needed to get her up to speed on things and I think it was nice, but it still needs just a little more to make it perfect, as usual. Still, funny moments throughout and the story does hold my interest.

This is a fantastic book! I'm hoping there isn't a huge gap between Marvel releasing #3 and the rest of the series.
