It looks like I will be able to cancel my Friday morning so I can go see the advance screening at midnight this Thursday night/Friday morning. No big surprise that none of my friends can do it. Anyone in New York City planning on doing this? I usually find these are the best crowds for certain geek-friendly movies, especially comic book films. These midnight audiences are mostly made of fans who are excited to be there, with no chatting, no ringing cell phones, no texting, etc.
So, maybe we can organize something? It would be nice to geek out with fellow fans afterwards.
There is a theater in my neighborhood that is doing it, I will go there.
It is at 12:01 Am, awsome can't waite.

I was trying to find a midnight showing in Portland, OR but I can't seem to. I'll have to wait unless one pops up somewhere.
ha, just found one at the Lloyd Center 10 Cinema ...maybe I'll see someone else there?

I'll be going to the midnight showing with three friends. We're seeing it in the largest auditorium of one of the newest theaters in southeastern Michigan. I plan to see it again on Saturday or Sunday (or both!) as well.
If my ability to watch the plethora of clips online repeatedly without tiring is any indication, this movie will deliver. And the way I see it, every ticket purchased is a vote of confidence for HB3.
By the way, the people who've seen the movie need to answer the three questions I posted in the Golden Army thread.
I bought my ticket this morning

I know the first one was met with a lukewarm reception in my area, which is why I'm hoping the midnight showing won't be busy, if I choose to go.
But it means going back to the theater where I once worked and talking to - ugh - old co-workers - and - and people. Blech.

First movie I have attended at Midnight, other than Star Wars, should be lots of fun! HB2 needs a lot of support early on, the following weekend Batman opens and there is a ton of buzz for that already. Planning on going twice, once at the 12:01am showing and then again on Sunday with my 7 yr old daughter (who loves Abe). That's 3 tickets for my part, maybe another down the line.

Robbinsville. If you talk to the North Jerseyians we're south. Talk to the Southerners we're North. It's all terribly confusing.

Me and HB. Times Square. Midnight. Look for the bald pasty chap with the pointy ears, bathing in blood.
The antisipation is killing me. Down to the last hour.
