Seriously growing up there were pennys that instead of having the Lincoln Memorial they said one cent on the back of them. Growing up I always thought they were called weap or weep pennys. I found one today that was pretty old so I decided to look it up on line to see if it was worth anything.
Turns out they are called Wheat pennys. Considering they have stalks of wheat on the back I guess I should have put two and two together but you learn something new everyday.
Anyone else have a story like this?
