I'm a weak guitarist and worse on drums. I sing well but mostly if it's a song I know. Mostly I do well with classic rock stuff with Ball Room Blitz being my best song.

I have to sign in my 12 month card and my brother is playing Halo 2 right now so all this I just posted is for future gigs.

My brother who's been playing bass for something like 20 years now takes this same attitude. He won't even play with his 9 year old son for god's sake.

I've failed spectacularly at every music lesson I've ever taken, so I'll take play-pretending!

(Plus, I get to play dress-up with my characters!)

There's a guitar for my nephew somewhere in the house. It hasn't seen much use for reasons not fully understood to me.

I do some singing as a hobby for about 15 years now. I find in Rockband that I have more trouble trying to sing for it rather than when I just sing normally. I think it's the pitch meter and trying to follow that.

I'll probably be waiting forever for Cream and Led Zeppelin to appear in any of these games. :mad:

Certainly. I can do most drum parts on hard and all guitar parts on expert.

And I know a little bit of real bass, too.

That sucks. Sorry to hear it. Does your voice at least sound raspy like Brian Adams at least? Sometimes a voice like that can sound really good with the right song.

I've considered buying Rock Band for some time now, if not only for the drums. If I do ever play with you folks, rest assured that you'll never, ever hear me sing.

i just picked up a copy about a week ago and I've been playing pretty steady since then. I'm ok. I beat the game on hard with the guitar with most of the songs beat with 5 stars. there were only 3 or 4 that I still haven't gotten over 4 stars so far. I recently started playing through on expert and I've beaten 20 songs I think all with 4 or 5 stars. I'd be interested in playing but I'm going to be away from the internet for a few days while sk and I move our stuff into the new place and wait to get the cable turned on out there.

I'm not a strong singer and I don't have the drum kit but I want to try them really bad.
