Hmm yes. A rather blatantly straightforward depiction of a little HB juggling with his destiny...
But like < edit >, what is this guy about?:
a statement of how drawing should just be drawing?: sure, 'though some will be more skillfull than others.
But man: comic art love is nothing snobby, so why the attitude?
Or in spaghetti: if this Balth is gonna draw he'd better start something...

Art and Franco are two of the nicest people I've ever met. I'm so happy that the Tiny Titans thing is doing so well.

That is them! They also did Patrick the Wolf Boy for years before this.

I mean no disrespect in feeling to 'not be getting it'.
If I'm to get a chance to meet them or 'check out their table', I definately will.
As this forum has me more and more wishing for bearing some travel.

That's a cute picture. The "left" hand of doom made me giggle... I mean chuckle. Gigglin's for pansies.

you know i re-watched the making of hellboy the other day and they showed a picture from del toro's notebook and he had drawn hellboy with the left hand of doom as well...i was kind of shocked.

There could be a reason for Del Toro's. They originally planned on making it on the left hand for the movie, due to issues actors may have of using their left hand for the fine motor scenes. There is actually a lithograph (I don't have it, but have seen it) promoting the movie with the stone hand on the left side. They changed it when Ron signed on due to him being ambidextrous. He could have sketched Hellboy pre-production.

Maybe Balthazar was thinking of this print.
Here's the one I was talking about to promote the movie.
