SOLOMON KANE: THE NIGHTCOMERS:
http://myspace.com/darkhorsepresents?issuenum=11&storynum=2
A new comic is on MySpaceDHP-- it's SOLOMON KANE: THE NIGHTCOMERS. If you like the Kane character-- or are totally new to him-- head over to MDHP. :) The online comic takes place in France in the late 16th century-- the theme is supernatural and horror.
In the HB COMPANION Further Reading list, Mignola mentioned that Kane was his favorite recurring Robert E. Howard character-- if you are/were new to the character like me (do'h!) then the MDHP is a cool way to check him out!
The pulp-comic of the ongoing story is listed in the current Previews catalog:
SOLOMON KANE #1-- written by Scott (Scott Allie), colored by Dave Stewart, with covers by John Cassaday.
"Supernatural adventures in the haunted Black Forest of Germany in this five-issue adaptation of Howard's "The Castle of the Devil.
When Solomon Kane stumbles upon the body of a boy hanged from a rickety gallows, he goes after the man responsible--a baron feared by the peasants from miles around.
Something far worse than the devilish baron or the terrible, intelligent wolf that prowls the woods lies hidden in the ruined monastery beneath the baron's castle, where a devil-worshipping priest died in chains centuries ago."
