Need help superman newbie

I was wonderin if there is any comic series that told of or showed supermans first encounter with all his best well known villians.

example: brainiac and bizarro

I'm not sure what your exactly asking for....Do you want a trade paperback of listing of the Best villians? Do you want a link to Best of Dc's Blue ribbon Digest? Do you want the actual issues numbers for their first encounters....example Pre-Crisis, Post Crisis, Post Infinite Crisis?

Pre Crisis Bizarro's first appearance was Superboy #68
Pre Crisis Brainiac first appearance was Action Comics #242

Post Crisis Bizarro first appearance was Man of Steel #5
Post Crisis Brainiac first appearnce was Adventures of Superman #438

First off I handled that poorly Dr_Droom20, my apologies to you.

In stating Issue number and pre and post crisis numbers wasn't very fair to you, I hadn't realized that you might not know what that would mean.

Since you wanted Brainiac, I might suggest you pick up the newest Action Comic #866 it just came out a couple of weeks ago with a new storyline.

I also would like to suggest just diving in and reading is the best way to start. In today's society the best way to get more for your dollar per chance is to read about story arcs, which they are collected in edtions like Trade Paper Backs and Hardcovers. I might also suggest if you cannot purchase many of these, you might want to search out a library, to indulge your reading habits.
