I posted a thread a while back about Wolverine's best fights but that got me wondering. Wolvie's had his comedy moments too. So which are your favourites?

Making paper dolls in Astonishing is my best Wolverine comedy moment.

That's funny, because it's the first thing I thought.

It isn't ironic, however.

Which is inconvenient, not ironic.

Logan getting run over by a steamroller driven Punisher was pretty fun, IMHO.

Everything about that story was funny. Wolverine got tied down by a bunch of midgets, had his face shot off, got his balls shot off, it was great.

Uncanny X-Men #139 written by Claremont/Byrne:
[Wolverine calls Xavier 'Charley']
XAVIER: Wolverine, call me 'Professor', 'Professor X', 'Professor Xavier', or even, if you must, 'Charles', but not 'Charley'. Is that understood?
WOLVERINE: Sure, Chuck.

Marvel Adventures Avengers #1 written by Jeff Parker:
BRUCE BANNER: You might want to ease off. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
WOLVERINE: Banner, I don't like you that much now.

Scene from X-Men the movie written by Joss Whedon:
[Cyclops is suspicious that Wolverine may be Mystique]
WOLVERINE: Hey! It's me.
CYCLOPS: Prove it!
WOLVERINE: You're a dick.
CYCLOPS: Okay.

And pick just about any random quote from Astonishing X-Men...

The next time he appeared, the joke had pretty much played itself out, though.

Ennis' "I don't like superheroes" thing gets really old, really fast.

Wolverine #11 written by Peter David
The scene that starts with "And stay out of this bar!" and ends with "Consider our partnership dissolved" is Wolverine at his devilish best.

Uncanny X-Men #355 written by Steve Seagle
WOLVERINE: Name's Wolverine. And I'm the best there is at what I do...T'day I'm riding a hog, with a monster named Sauron strapped to the back of it, into the city. Guess that means if there was a contest of lots of guys doin' the same...I'd win.

I liked the part when Logan kept on switching Mr. Fixit's cloths with purple pants. That was hilarious.

Also this defeat at the hands of Spider man was great too :

It was pretty funny when Spidey webbed up Wolverine with his fists webbed to his head.

He had to stab himself in the head to free himself.

There sure are a lot of questionable moments between Jubes and Wolvie.. its not exactly funny, but its dang awful scary.

Wolverine as the fiend-with-no-name in Kitty Pryde's fairy tale for sure. Everything about that guy was funny, from eating a beer can to fighting with the gigantic Lockheed.

i like the scene in New X (i think it was part of Assault on weapon +) where Wolverine and Sabertooth were in the mens room... Sabertoof was all, "what you got that i dont got?" and Wolvie just leans back while at the urinal.

See also, my icon.
