I have a strong feeling this has to do with the X-Universe, what with the "X" appearing on both shots...
1st one...

And you can't look at that second one and not say that it kinda looks like Rogue, especially with the white hair at the top......
Looking over the first picture again, it could be Cyclops standing there with that gun.
