I just found this vid of someone playing XML2 with Psylocke and Angel. It said that someone made a mod of the charcaters and inserted them into the game. Does anyone know how to do this cause I would go back and play both Legend games with some new charcaters...

That is badass, especially Husk and Angel. See, I don't understand why they never draw Warren fighting like this in the comics. It's visual proof that he's not offensively useless in battle without metal wings. If he used the same moves with metal wings, he'd be eviscerating and decapitating his opponents. I guess that's what he'll be doing in X-Force.

Good mods will usually be packaged so you can just replace a certain character.

It's not exactly an X-Men game, but "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance - Fusion!" (yeah, that's the lamest name ever, I know) is in the making. We already know that Storm and Wolvie are in it, along with many other marvel characters (most of which are unknown).

It'll come out on the PC as well, so it'll probably get modded in the same manner XML2 did, so expect more fan favorites after the release :)

That guy has a whole YouTube channel that's nothing but XML2 Mods. Some are good.

-Northstar: Great variety of powers, and he has a superspeed attack that looks like it works like Nightcrawler's teleport. Also has a great variety of Light attacks, some that have status damage.
-Dust Incredible series of attacks, some which lend themselves from Storm's, and a few that seem similar to Jean Grey, like her X-Treme attack where she forms a sand guardian.
-Moonstar: The visual of her psychic bow and arrow, plus using a lot of her traditional powers, and letting her summon Valkyries as an X-Treme attack? Hot damn, that's a great mod.
-Sage: Really, one of his best. The choice of giving her weapon attacks like say, Cable or Bishop, as well as psionic attacks, and great boosts, I approve of.

Although, some leave me wanting.

Chamber: While he nailed the character skin, virtually all of his abilities are the same as Cyclops.
Husk: Her powers leave a LOT to be desired. Most of them are melee attacks. Why she doesn't have boosts similar to Colossus is what I'm wondering. She also has a lunge attack similar to Rogue's that doesn't make a lot of sense for her.
Thunderbird III: WHY? Is my first question. Second, they just really gave him powers to make him Sunfire with a different skin, for the most part. I'm underwhelmed, and not just because it's Neal Shaara.
Shatterstar: First off, it's Shatterstar. Second, other than the guy remembering he can summon a sonic blast from his blade... this guy's attacks are all Deadpool's. All of 'em. It must be nice for fans of the Mojoverse, or Liefeld in the 90s. Those five people will love it.


Although, one of the comments left on his YouTube page is someone who made a great suggestion... to please make a Monet St. Croix mod. I would agree, her powers would be represented well with some of Rogue's moves, and some of Jean's telepathic abilities. That could be an easy, but cool mod.

X-23 would be hard to get a female body type that would look appropriate, and match the right physical attacks to it to pull it off. Rogue's attacks could be close, but giving them effects like Wolverine's would be the hard part.

Still, I sometimes wonder if Activision will ever make an uber version of X-Men Legends with everybody and the kitchen sink as playables. Each act should be a major storyline, including Messiah CompleX, Secret Invasion: X-Men, etc.

Hell, imagine if you could play any act as the villains. How cool would it be to get to take the Acolytes or the Marauders for a spin? :smile:

Maybe they could have like sub-sections where you can play as differnent teams throughout the X-history. Imagine playing a Blue Team mission where they fought Omega Red or X-force first meeting with Bedlam!:biggrin:

Danger Room training missions, or "flashback" tales, yeah. That could be cool. Right now, though... they're hung up on Marvel Ultimate Alliance II.

XML3 isn't even in the works, so far as we know.
