I'd say I'm mostly like Iceman. Almost always lighthearted until something I'm passionate about gets brought up, getting older but acting the same age, I often joke too much, I have an affinity for bad puns, I've screwed up no less than 2 of my relationships (though he had it worse because none of my girlfriends looked or acted like Polaris), and when compared to a lot of my friends I'm an underachiever.

Now? The entire reason why Emma Frost is my favorite character is I identify with her, but considering she's in a more dramatic and tense lifestyle, she is a fuller expression of qualities I have.

I have a bad tendency to be elitist, I'm manipulative, I act like nothing phases me, and I'm very critical of most things. I believe that women or gay men like myself, should be able to have a sex life that includes multiple flings without being branded a slut since the people who condemn the "sluts" seem to celebrate the straight men doing the same thing. And I'm a pro at the backhanded compliment. I'm actually quite sweet so long as no one does anything to piss me off on purpose. Then all the nasty qualities come out.

All around, I have a sometimes nasty exterior with a guarded sensitive interior much like Emma.

There are a lot of characters similar to me. Many of them I have connected to at differents parts in my life. I remember as a child really liking Polaris, Quicksilver, Wolfsbane, Cannonball, Jubilee, Rogue, etc. Now a lot of those characters have changed, or I like them still but for different reasons.

Colossus- We are both physically strong, but also self-reflecting, artistic, expressive, dramatic, sensitive, and temperamental. However, we both have that loveable boyish charm and we have similar physical features, if Colossus were 10 years younger and less muscular.

Magik- We both deal with inner demons, disturbed childhoods, often "playing demon" just to freak people out. My way of doing this is to act very insensitive around those that I fear would or could hurt me. Put up a guard, act strong, when really I am a child inside crying for help.

Anole- Besides us both liking boys, he is loveable, flirty, playful, a natural born leader type, he stands up for what he believes is right, regardless of whether or not it is "right for him". A clear sense of reality, but also there is underlining imagination twisting reality if he ever starts to understand it too well. People like Anole. People like me. However, he is very moody and can be aggressive, taking things too personally, and latching onto concepts of people rather than people themselves.

Monet meets Chamber- If Monet and Chamber had a child, 18 years later I would be that child. Monet would raise me to be a little haughty, arrogant, and every other synonym for such words. However, others would live to impress me, dressing up around me, trying to find something in common with me so I would just except them already! I would have style, flare, and I would inspire people, create jealousy, be overly competitive, a little promiscuous, and too smart for my own good. However, these traits are all based on insecurities or unconscious feelings of inadequacy or vulnerability. Chamber would raise me to be sensitive, nurturing, but also very dark and brooding. I would be like a middle child, just as I am now. The best and worst of both worlds. Superficial, but caring. Aggressive, but passive. Independent, but dependent. Happy, but depressed. Introverted, but extroverted, etc. Polar extremes of everything, but not much in the middle.

Rogue- Constantly having to cope with the influence of others on her psyche, of someone else "taking her body". Being a teenager facing insecurities about sex, romance, individuality, purpose, the future, the past, etc. They said Kitty Pryde was the P.O.V. character of the 80's. They were wrong, it was Rogue. Her entire existence was a metaphor for the average teenager, taking everything literally and giving her a power that absorbs everything around her, creating confusion as to who she actually is at her core.



Thats why the X-characters are so good. The vast majority have so much in them that we have in ourselves. There aren't many other comic characters that are as deep and realistic, despite having powers and coming back from the dead, blah blah blah. Hopefully none of you wasted twenty minutes reading this, because if you expected to find something interesting, sorry!

They have a lot in common. Emma is a Professional, Colossus is an Aristocrat. Emma never lets her guard down, Colossus lets it down, but only because he is confident enough and understands himself well enough to do so. They have a lot in common. Both are very, very sensitive. Emma doesn't show it, but she is. She takes everything personally. "He still loves Jean? Interesting, because I spend so much money having the perfect body but I still rate below a corpse blah blah maybe I am fat?" "The X-Men hate me. They think I'm going to betray them. Maybe I am, I don't know anymore. She just looked at me. Is she judging me? Lets act out irrationally, now..."

With Colossus its more "No, don't hurt my loved ones, without them I am nothing." "I don't know who I am. Or rather, I do, but I don't think I like it. I'll be this. No, I'll be this. I am so tired of being myself, it gets me nowhere. People like me? Funny, I don't."

Got them when I was a teenager. Lots of bench presses and flyes made them head-turning and now v-neck shirts fit a bit differently. Guys feel safe when nuzzled in them.

I'm just as ambitious and strive to live up to my full potential, love the businessworld, I can be very harsh on others as well as on myself. I'm very loyal to those I love. Have a strong dislike of jerks and (adult) cry babies. I have a strong sense of duty.I'm always thinking, and don't make friends very easy. I value quality and excellence. I can't think of an X-Man who's JUST like me. Their characters and none of them can have a personality as complex as real people. Not even Polaris.

If anything, probably a combination of certain aspects of Jean Grey's and Emma Frost's personalities, with a bit of Cyclops and Polaris thrown in. Not JUST like me but close enough.

Work-related- Cyclops and Storm (very work/business oriented as well as being a mentor and leader.)
Personality- Jubilee, Nightcrawler, and Colossus (occasionally goofy yet serious, try to have good morals, and protective of friends/family/etc.)
Relationships (or lack thereof)- Rictor I guess (confused about 'stuff,' but have never dated anyone really.)
Hobbies/Interests- Psylocke and Shadowcat (martial arts, self defense. I'd be a five or a six out of seven in fighting skills when compared to Marvel's power grids.)
