So will Kelly Tindall! I'll be kicking it with Tim Sale, probably won't have my own table or anything.

Hey, I'm new here but certainly not to the Hellboy universe. I've been thinking of getting an account for a while.

Dang, i was just in Toronto. Wish i would have went during the fan expo.

Hi, I've been buying autographed comic books on ebay and I'm thinking about getting my comics autographed at the Fan Expo 2008. Do you know how many books I can get signed per artist/writer?

Some artists will sign all day if there isn't a line. But a comfortable limit should be self-imposed. He uses that hand to draw with!! I would recommend half a dozen or less items per artist...

C'mon, most of your comics are going back into a box anyway. Have him sign something meaningful that you will be more likely to see frequently. A graphic novel or an art book of his or your favorite story or his first story ever...

You now, i was reading Plague of Frogs one day and i decided to read some of the fan letters and saw Jason Armstrong's letter.
I guess they hook up with fans or something to do a comic.

I'm back at my desk after a long, wonderful weekend the Fan Expo in Toronto.

Jason Armstrong was one of the first cats I wanted to see. It was great to meet him... He had a ton of stuff for sale so I picked up his Image series, Ferro City, while he sketched me a Lobster Johnson.

I ended up going back on Sunday to get a Captain Jack Sparrow for a friend's theme sketchbook, but I got too busy to go back in the afternoon and buy a Lobster Johnson page from Jason. They are really beautiful... He adds the panel borders using Photoshop, so the actual pages are very loose and expressive. Lovely stuff.

I also got to see a number of other great creators, like Cameron Stewart, Stuart Immonen, Darwyn Cooke (his portfolio is literally to die for), Ty Templeton, and of course my buddy Tim Sale. It was a great show, and I can't wait for next year.
