Who would quit their team for the JLA?

I was just thinking something, who in the DCU would quit their team in order to join the JLA? For example, if asked, would Wildcat quit the JSA in order to join the JLA?
What about members of other teams, like Doom Patrol, Teen Titans etc?
Is there a prestige about being a member of the JLA?
Does anyone care?
