I think it looks good. It was weird hearing Kevin Conroy's voice on top of a different style of animation, though.

I thought this was supposed to bridge the movies? Batman and scarecrow look a lot different in that clip.

Not bad. Better than I was expecting, actually.

I think only story wise. Otherwise they would've tried to get Christian Bale as Batman, and not take Kevin Conroy.
You know whenever I see Batman animated....along with Kevin Conroy's voice...I just feel a thrill up my leg! It's like eating chocolate and peanut butter together! Yum!

It is so awesome that Kevin Conroy is recognized as the animated Batman. They also got him to do those voiced storyboard sequences in the extras on Batman.

I think this is another example of DC announcing an upcoming project in a certain way only for its intention to be changed upon completion. I refer less to Batman and Scarecrow looking different in the clip and more to the fact this characters like Killer Croc and Deadshot don't really seem to fit into stories which bridge the gap from Begins to The Dark Knight.
That said, this looks pretty interesting and I'll definitely buy it. I'm probably in the minority of people who'd prefer a different voice actor to Kevin Conroy as it doesn't really seem to suit the animation, purely through the association of B:TAS and the Justice League cartoons.

I don't know about bridging the gap, but it's definitely set in the world of the movie. The fear-gassed Narrows ties into a couple of the stories.
Then again, Maroni's in it, so I guess it could be considered a bridge because of that.

I just hope it's better than the novel...

I only had a problem with the "Crossfire" segment, as I recall. The rest were average to pretty good.

I agree with you. I loved his voice in TAS, but it just sounds weird coming out of this Batman.
This doesn't look like it's quite my taste, but I'll probably buy it anyway.

A few of the animation interpretations look a little off especially the boyband looking bruce wayne one but yeah ill probably buy it.

Yeah... there's a lot of aspects that completely ruin the whole "bridge the films" theory. but on it's own merits it looks great! I'll totally be getting it.

I dont think its the animation change that makes the Bat voice in GN a little off its the quotes he comes out with in the animation thier are many words you wont hear from the BTAS batman.

Are you talking about the part where Batman is in the middle of the gang war?

Yeah, the one starring Crispin Allen and "Not-Montoya".

That was my least favorite part, too.
I really liked when he was tracking Killer Croc through the sewers, though. That was probably my favorite part of the whole affair.

You have a Blu-Ray player, but just a standard definition television? Why would you do that? And will you be upgrading to (at least) an HD-Ready television any time soon?

I liked all segments. They show various perspectives on concept of Batman protecting Gotham City. Excepty, "Working Through Pain" segment. That was about Bruce trying to learn to work through pain of losing his parents.

I love the cross-section of voice actors here. Not only do we get Kevin Conroy, but we also get George Newburn (JLU Superman) and Will Friedle (Batman Beyond), and even Corey Burton and Rob Paulsen.
None of them (except Conroy, of course) reprise previous roles, but seeing them on the same cast list is comfortable and makes this project seem more approachable.
