If you have Mutants on the greatest superhero team "the Avengers" who are praised and loved by the human masses alongside thier SuperHuman counterparts, then whats the point of making a team of only mutants whether they are superheroes or working for the government (X-Men / X-Factor) to change people's perception of them that they are all dangerous & a threat to the human race.
Dont the Avengers already prove to the masses that mutants & superhumans can work side by side for the benefit of mankind ?

Generally, the population does not differentiate from evil mutants (Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Marauders, etc al) & good mutants (X-Men, X-Factor, Excalibur, etc al); to them, all mutants are evil mutants. However, the mutants who become Avengers are still celebrated as heroes because they are Avengers. The mutants in the Avengers are treated differently than the X-Men since the X-Men hide from mankind; whereas, the Avengers, by & large, are publicly known heroes.

There was a time after "Fall of the Mutants" that X- Factor were loved & regarded as Superheroes by the masses.

My question is why do we need a all mutant team of superheroes (like X-Factor, or the Astonishing X-Men, XSE) who want to be in the public eye to change the general human population's perception of them all being bad, when we already have mutants on the Avengers that represent & portray a good image of the mutant race.
Im really surprised things are still so bad for mutants. What the hell have Quicksilver, Wanda & especially Beast been doing all this time you would think being on the premiere superteam that things would have changed, they would have took that opportunity & put it to good use to represent thier kind in a better lite & be more outspoken about all the injustice and persecution mutants faceby being born differ4ent by humans & being used by governments. but I think the past Avengers writer's never bothered to touch on this subject. What a waste

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are useless for PR. Quicksilver is too arrogant and probably turns people off mutants. I'm sure people don't know what to do with the Scarlet Witch given that she married a robot. Beast is too busy being his own science experiment to be a public figure.

Plus, Magneto's antics cancel out any pro-Mutant work these guys might be up to. Dazzler attempted to become a mutant public figure, but that didn't work out so well.

So since that failed, do you think the Avengers should be only a superpowered human team & have mutant teams to promote good mutant PR

Or have an X-team enlist with The Initiative.

I think the X-Men tend to question authority too much to want to work under Tony Stark right now. His current policies probably don't agree with most of them.

The Mutants in general have little love or respect for the Avengers, after all the Avengers work for the same people who have persecuted mutants for decades.

but doesnt this bother the mutant members of the avengers that other mutants around the world like themselves are being killed, enslaved & descriminated against. how can they just stand by and not say a word

Being on the Avengers certainly doesn't save the mutants from discrimination. The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver still had to suffer, and Wanda marrying Vision just made it worse in a lot of people's minds.

Beast was a little better off, as were Justice and Firestar. However, Justice and Firestar had already served on the New Warriors before joinging the Avengers, but that may have helped a little as the NW were not an all-mutant team.
