Hardly Any Good New DCU Titles Coming Up?

Which is good news for me as I am trying to cut the number of titles I am getting down.

The only new DCU titles I might at least pick up the first couple of issues of are the new Secret Six title & the new Power Girl series.

Well, if you're talking about new ongoing series, these often spin out of event comics. Given that Final Crisis has just started, I'd say we won't see too many new ongoings until it's finished in 8 months time.

Final Crisis: Revelations is going to be amazing!
I'm incredibly psyched about the Batwoman project, the Secret Six ongoing, Legion of Three Worlds, Robinson's Justice League book, and Madame Xanadu.

I'm scared that Dini will ruin Zatanna if he ends up being the writer of her mini, as her crappy appearances in Detective make clear. I'm also not at all impressed with Palmiotti and Gray based on the garbage they turned out with Uncle Sam & the Freedom Fighters, so Power Girl is a wait-and-see kind of thing for me.

Zatanna's getting her own series? !@#$in' sweet. Even sweeter if Dini's writing it. Everyday Magic was good stuff, and I love the way he's handled her character in Detective and on "Batman: The Animated Series."

And then of course, we're getting the awesome Simone/Scott team on Secret Six and Jimmy and Justin with Amanda on Power Girl. And now we've got Robinson on Superman, and his own Justice League title coming out in months.

It's a short list of new titles, but they're lookin' pretty good.

True. I'll take quality over quantity, anyway. Looking forward to Rogues' Revenge, FC: Revelations, Legion of 3 Worlds, Secret Six, Power Girl, and Robinson's Justice League & Superman. Those all look to be quite good.
