Our resident "comic book historian" Alan Kistler recently offered up his DCU savvy and artistic talents to a feature in which he catches people up with the events leading to Final Crisis. While a lot of this is probably old news to the CBR crew here, I had to post a link because I think his illustrations are hi-larious.

Case in point: Superboy Prime, Monarch and Solomon kicking around Earth 51.

Nice.

Enjoy! (And be sure to look for the second half tomorrow!)

I like the image of Darkseid whittling.

Very nice!

I like the image of Darkseid whittling.

That was only my favorite thing to draw. As soon as I saw those chess pieces, I just had this idea of Darkseid whittling away to make sure the set was all good and ready before Solomon arrived, and I just started laughing. :-)
