i just picked up the final hardcover for the sinestro corps war this week and noticed that this book will release next week (6-26). i understand that this collection is a series of one-shots that deals with the main members of the sinestro corps. Can you guys give me any further descriptions, opinions, or a recommendation on whether this release adds to the storyline and is worth a purchase. thanks

Actually it has stories that take place before, between, and after issues of Vol. 2. It does tie up some loose ends that the 2nd volume doesnt cover. And it does give back stories on a few important characters.

Honestly, its more like a Sinestro Corps War Companion.

I enjoyed the stories because it gave me some detail on who the characters were and it set up the stage for the Superman Prime/Ion fight. I plan on buying it when it comes out. And hopefully, maybe someday they'll have an Omnibus where they put the One-Shots into the main storyline.
