I just read the CW trade, and was just curious, as he wasn't ever shown.

He was registered, mainly because he wanted to go out and hunt heroes and not be hunted down himself. It's collected in one of the side trades. (It may have been "X-universe"...? ) He didn't really do much, IIRC, he attempted to take down Daredevil and ended up facing Cap's entire team at the time, then at the end as far as I remember he was still registered and legit.

He also attempted to bring in the Great Lakes Avengers! ... but, they'd already registered.

Seeing him wrapped like a mummy was funny.

I think there was also an ill-fated attempt or two to bring Cable in, even though Cable seemed to officially be an extraterritorial noncombatant (who lent
support to the anti-reg side, much as Black Panther did).

You must go read the Cable & Deadpool comics that tied in.

In them Cable's role in the Civil War and how he helped the anti-reg's is fleshed out.

But the real good part is Deadpool. He registers just so he can have a badge and his battle against the Great Lakes Avengers is completely hilarious. I haven't laughed so hard at a comic in my life. Best part is that the GLA were registered and Deadpool didn't realize it.

He then goes on to try and arrest Cable which doesn't work as planned.

Best part was the local cops trying to figure out what to do, seeing as how the GLA had never successfully handed anyone over to them before.

I've been thinking of buying the Cable/Deadpool TPBs.

Maybe I will.

And how can we forget Deadpool's malfunctioning narration balloons?

He actually held his own against Cap's forces (Cap, Falcon, Hercules, and Daredevil/Iron Fist) pretty well. I forget how he was ultimately taken down (Cap, probably), but until then he was kicking some butt.

He also took down Rockwell Dodswo-- I mean, Goliath.

Cable arrived soon after, and when Deadpool tried to tranq him, Nate gravimetrically put all the darts in Deadpool's face.

He was summarily duct taped.

best part was how he filled Hercules face with darts and the pissed off face with only Cap standing on the way from a beatdown.

and ducktape, lots and lots of ducktape!
