The titans have been around for about 40 years. I was wondering which era of the titans were your favorite?

Obviously there are fans who havent read every titans roster since it began.

My all time fav to this day is still the 80's with wolfman/perez, this roster introduced us with some OLD SCHOOL  and new school members as well. to this day those members are still being used in the DC universe.

That roster from the 80's kicked asssssssssss as did the storytelling.

Geoff did a nice job with his roster of titans and delivered some good stories here and there. But in my opinion nothing will ever come close to the wolfman/perez days.

the all NEW Teen Titans from #1, until Wolfman screwed it up, by ruining Raven. She was the glue that held the team together, and when he dicked with her, it all came un-done, quickly and badly.

The Cartoon version, by wayyyyyyy far. Unless you can count the Allred version in his Solo issue.

I guess it depends on whether you count Young Justice. If so, it's them by a country mile. If not... I suppose the Wolfman/Perez era. I haven't read much of it, but the Judas Contract and Terror of Trigon were pretty good.

The New Teen Titans era from 1980 that carried over for 20 years with the introduction of the mysterious Raven, Cyborg, & the alien, Starfire with original Teen Titans, Robin, Wonder Girl, & Kid Flash (plus Changeling from the late Doom Patrol) by Marv Wolfman & George Perez:

There's only one worthwhile titan era - the wolfman/perez era , the rest are no comparison.

It's the only time in the 80s that a dc title sales is up there and nearly comparable to marvel clairemont x-men juggernaut .

Who knew that issue was the last one to see them together in that capacity as well as what the next 4-5 months would bring.

1980 series. It's where the magic happened.

The 1984 series was great too, but the preceding one was just magic.

to this day I think jericho has been the best member to join the titans universe since the new teen titans debuted back in 1980.

Wolfman/Perez, clearly.

The Haney/Cardy Titans was also really good.

The Jurgens era.

Seriously.

Since YJ doesn't count, I'll have to go with . . . . the swingin' '60s Teen Titans. Those far out cats were wild and wooly and full of gumdrops.

After that, it's followed by the cartoon and the Jurgens era. I know the stock answer is to say the '80s NTT, but I could just never get into that title. Going back to it now in the present, it just seems kind of average and more than a little dated. The '60s Titans may be corny and dated in their own way, but at least the way they did it is good for a laugh.

It was always said that jurgens run was only titans by name.... thinking by using the name, this would help sales. I dont consider that series titans... even though DC does

Now while I did not read all those issues, the ones I did read, I didnt like and I actually sold all of those years back, except for the ones that nightwing, flash, tempest, and arsenal or was it red arrow then too 9shrugs) those I still have.
