Ok so i felt like re-reading the arc where volume 2 reverted back to the volume 1 number scheme. AKA happy B-day Issue #500. Pete and doc strange get lost in time and seperated. Pete then see his beginning and his end at the same time and can choose to change them.
We've all read it and we know he doesnt change either..... The question I have is his future.......
When do you think we will see the pay off from that story?
Seems pete has killed someone and he warns himself to always love MJ because she will love him always. He is then gunned down after a fight.
Does anyone have any leads on where that was all going or when it may be touched on again.... or is this another dead end that Marvel will never touch?
Also The Dr. Strange Mini series that they mention in this book, whats it called and what happens in it?

Never. JMS set up alot of things like this which he never got to finish thanks to OMD.
A good example of this is the women in red from OMD. She isn't Mephisto per say, he is using her image...as she says; "suprised you forgot to ask about me. I'm a possibility yet to come. But thats a discussion for another time."

Alot of people hoped this was getting addressed in OMD, when we saw the inital cover for #545 people thought it was the glove of the future spider-man seen in "happy birthday" but no such luck :frown:

No idea sorry, try asking in the MU forum

Still, you never know. Another writer may decide to explore the ramifications of the story. Or JMS may tackle Spider-Man again at some point in the future, even if it's just by writing Spider-Man: The End.
Also The Dr. Strange Mini series that they mention in this book, whats it called and what happens in it?The Doctor Strange mini series never happened. JMS did use the tentative title "The Other Side of Darkness" for the second part of One More Day, tying it into the first reference to the mini series in Amazing Spider-Man Volume 2 #42.

Also The Dr. Strange Mini series that they mention in this book, whats it called and what happens in it?Mordo's claim that Strange's past would be changed was supposed to be a lead-in to the 6-part mini simply titled "Strange", which was written by JMS and drawn by Brandon Peterson. It's an entertaining read and very interesting, but has not had any impact at all on the character, since the mini as a whole has been ignored.
Admittedly, that was a Marvel Knights mini, and such things are typically considered out of continuity, and it didn't actually touch on any of the events of Happy Birthday. So, one would could argue that the mini dealing with Mordo changing his past has yet to be published.

JMS was leaving Amazing Spider-Man regardless of One More Day.

My bad. Forgot about the other reference.
JMS was leaving Amazing Spider-Man regardless of One More Day.
Im aware of that, he said he wanted to tie up loose ends which is understandable. He definatley did not plan on ending his run with OMD
Anyone else remember that quote from Quesada when OMD was first announced? Something along the lines of "This will give Joe(ms) the chance to say everything he's want to"
I don't think it turned out the way he planned..

In that flashforward, Spider-Man has lost his secret idnetity, Aunt May is dead, he's got a son, and he is a wanted man.
If you ask me, that scene was purely set-up for OMD, and then later OMD and/or Civil War changed from what was originally agreed upon.

dang i wanted to read the doc strange story. Figured it might explain why he sucks so bad in WWH.
AS to Marvel Knights being out of continuity. Didnt they bridge Spidey into it via switching the title name to sensational or did that book go a completely different way before that switch. I have from the switch on but none of the Knights issues. Wondering if i should check them out.

Millar's run on Marvel Knights Spider-Man is pretty damn good. I highly recommend the oversized hardcover collection.

It did feel like he was setting up some thing. There was an arc where he save this guy who fix costumes and at then the guy handed him a sketch of a costume and it was the same one from the future.

Ongoing Marvel Knights titles (like that Spider-Man title and current things like Ghost Rider and Moon Knight) are in continuity.
Marvel Knights mini series (such as Spider-Man Reign and Silver Surfer Requiem) are typically considered out of continuity. The Strange mini that some have said was the follow up to the story element in Happy Birthday might well have been the same.

The actual thing about Marvel Knghts is that the imprint was first introduced for some more mature books, like Daredevil and Punisher. The imprint went really successful, most because of DD, if you ask me and then everyone was on MK, or at least had a title there. Then, they had this rating system, and I think because the MK logo had started to be more famous than the marvel one, they pull back all the titles in MU, and they started using MK for minis generally out of continuity.

You know I thought that after my first reading. I recently went back and read it and man was it horrible. It just doesn't hold up. While it is a comic it also seems way to far fetched. Just not that great of a run in my opinion.
