i am getting back into spiderman comics again and want to have a read of both ASM and USM i am going to start with BND with ASM but where should i start with USM what issue

start with the first tpb and start at #1. the trades are easy to find and there still in print. usm is very good and easily accesible.

for amazing spiderman you can start with bnd but depending on how many issues youve read or own get the amazing spiderman dvd-rom. this has the first 500 issues of amazing spiderman and the annuals.

I'd recommend the Ultimate collection trade paperback, which has the first thirteen issues of Ultimate Spider-Man for a reasonable price ($17 on amazon.com).

is that new or has the first trade always had 13 issues? i thought the first trade only had the first 6 or 7 issues in it?

It collects seven issues to read. BND started with issue #546

is that new or has the first trade always had 13 issues? i thought the first trade only had the first 6 or 7 issues in it?It's a new trade paperback collecting the contents of the first two volumes.
