Apparentally these titles are being temporarily cancelled to make way for more Clone Wars stuff, mainly based on the CG movie/series.
KOTOR and Legacy will continue, however....

I think this was touched on in the Dark Horse Vector Thread but more information can't hurt!!!
Yeah, they announced this like two months ago. Both series are supposed to remain in production, though. So when they come back, they should have quite a few issues in the can.

Well, I'd heard almost since day 1 that DARK TIMES would always be on a slower schedule so as to accomodate Doug Wheatley (who takes a while, but DAMN he sure makes it worth the wait). So this apparent hiatus will help DARK TIMES nicely.
But REBELLION doesn't seem to have been on a regular schedule of late either (I don't see it on shelves often), and I don't know why that is.
Yeah, I don't understand the delays with Rebellion either.
Dark Times and Rebellion were supposed to be a rotating series. Dark Horse didn't want to publish four Star Wars monthlies so the plan was to do an arc of Rebellion then switch to Dark Times then back to Rebellion and so on and so forth. That didn't work.

This is one of the reasons they are going on short Hiatus. To let dark Horse see Which series they will continue with. Clone wars is always a possiblility (I hope not and will not be buying these books) but one never knows. Alot of decisions are also awaiting the outcome of Vector and whether they brought in new readers or not. Time will tell!

Really? Well, I hope they stick with DARK TIMES. We waited for over 20 years for stories between Episodes 3 and 4, while books like REBELLION have been telling tales of the same ol' post-ANH/pre-ESB era ever since 1977.

I am enjoying KOTR alot! I was one of the readers brought on board by Vector and have gone back and picked up back issues. I agree that Dark Times has been more interesting than Rebellion and I have not yet read any Legacy books (Yes, I am a putz but am waiting until Vector cathces up) I do know that I am NOT interested in the Clone Wars books and will completely skip these.

I'm skipping anything else Clone Wars related as well (including the new movie). If enough of us vote with our wallets, then hopefully the Star Wars EU will be driven back to more interesting direction, like the Dark Times era.
