Tried it. Buggy... crashes my shizzle all the time, no response from the devs, when its working half my feats don't. Most everything is broken.

If you give it a go, good luck.

Now that I know it's really buggy, 'll wait a while longer before I even bother...

I prefer walking around the neighbourhood with my 20,000 year old Cimmerian broadsword, threatening anyone who looks vaguely like a sorcerer, Pict or Stygian.

...Yeah, I've been pepper sprayed by police... A LOT.

But you got in a few good critical strikes...right?

And xp?

Couldn't disagree more. Biggest but I have found is every once in a while my hair disappears.

Of all the MMOs I have played at start up, this one is the least buggy.

I didn't have many problems with bugs.

I had problems with this game being boring as fucking hell.

I really, really liked the tutorial a lot.

Then, once I got past that...I took like a dozen quests and not a single one involved any fighting. Yeah, got real boring real fast.

One of my biggest problems, honestly? For a game based on Conan, every NPC you meet is either really nice to you, or just a huge fucking pussy.

I've had no issues what-so-ever since I started playing this weekend. I think the main issue is that this game is VERY demanding on the PC that runs it (more so than the Devs initially let on). You need a quality rig to run this sucker at anything less than sub-standard capability.

I've had no bugs, and only two minor lag hiccups in the past 5 or so days since I started playing, but in order to get that wonderfully smooth game play? I'm playing on Alienware's 'Area 51 7500' model, and an UPGRADED version of it at that. That just gives an idea of how demanding this darn game can be.

That said, if you've got a machine that can run the game smoothly, and you like a good immerssive experience the game can be very enjoyable. I will say, it seems more like the thinking/imaginative player's game. If you liked Mass Effect you'll probably enjoy AoC; if you prefer the more fast paced MMOs like WoW? You're not as likely to enjoy AoC.

I love that we get cinematic fully voice acted cut-scenes for the NPCs we talk to, and I love how detailed the character creation is. The games a lot of fun if you can look past any of the little flaws that every MMO has in it's first few months of play. If you can't? Then it's definitely something you don't want to spend money on. Give the dev team 4 or 5 months to work out the issues then check back.

Once you get past Tortage, all that cinematic voice acting goes away, and the game becomes a boring slog.

I've got a pretty nice dual core gaming rig, plenty of video card muscle and RAM with up to date drivers. I crashed about 5 times a night, sometimes to desktop, other times a total system lockup.

My temps are good and my drivers up to date. I emailed off the error report probably 30 times with notes as to what I was doing. Read the FAQs and the trouble-shooting sections, nothing there and no response after two weeks of playing.

I just gave up. When the game was running, half my feats didn't work anyway.
